Congressman Jim Banks is spending time in Northeastern Indiana Thursday and Friday.
Friday morning at the Ramada Hotel, he was joined by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at an event, you can see Ryan walking out from the event and hopping into a private car.
After that event, Banks headed to tour one of the hangars at Smith Field. The congressman recently authored an amendment to the House version of the Federal Aviation Administration re-authorization bill that would name the hangar the "National Airmail Museum." He will also stop by the VA Medical Center for a tour.
At about 2 pm, the congressman will attend an event where the McComb Family Foundation is donating $25,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project. On Friday, Congressman Banks will be donating his service uniform to the Whitely County Historical Museum.
