A section of westbound US 30 was closed for several hours while crews responded to a crash involving two semis Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 12:30 Thursday morning. Two semi-trucks crashed near US-30 West and Doyle Road. One of the semi-trucks was hauling a tanker of diesel fuel. The crash caused about 200 gallons of diesel fuel and some oil to spill out on the road.
Westbound US 30 was closed for several hours while crews poured sand to clean the gas and oil up. The scene was cleared within several hours of the crash. A fire official said one person suffered minor injuries in the crash.
