A Fort Wayne man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
The Department of Justice’s Northern District of Indiana said Darin Kaufman was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to receipt of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Court documents in the case indicate Kaufman received and possessed child pornography from January through November 2014. He was found with images from different child pornography series that law enforcement knows about. He pleaded guilty back in May 2016.
He was sentenced to 180 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.
