Runners take over streets of Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA 21) — Fort4fitness kicked off bright and early Saturday morning where thousands of people gathered at Parkview field for the city’s latest celebration of fitness.

Dedicated runners heard the cannon sound at 6:30 Saturday morning for the fall festival marathon.

The race led runners through historic Fort Wayne neighborhoods and past landmark churches.

If you weren’t quite up to the task of running 26.2 miles, you could also run a half marathon, a 10-k, or a four mile run/walk.
