ROANOKE, Ind. (WPTA21) –School leaders broke ground on the future of Roanoke Elementary School Monday.
The existing school is close to 100 years old and is in need of renovation. School leaders say it would be much more expensive to renovate the old building, so they chose to build a new school instead,
The new 87,000 square-foot building should be ready for students by the 2019-2020 school year.
