Heavy rain moving back in

Whew! It was a close one, but the weather will cooperate for the rest of the evening festivities with temperatures near 50 degrees all night along.

Rain is moving in from the southwest, however, and it will be accompanied with gusty wind for much of the day Thursday. Rain starts between 3-6 am and continues for the entire day, so keep that umbrella handy! Rainfall amounts will be between 0.5-2″, with highest amounts south and east of Fort Wayne. It’ll also be chilly with highs in the 40s.

Rain turns to showers Friday under cloudy skies and highs in the low 40s before the sun comes out on Saturday. This break will be short lived, however, as rain rolls back in Sunday and continues–off and on–through midweek next week.

Happy Halloween!
