It was an unusually icy November day, but the good thing about having anomalous winter weather events strike this time of year is that it warms up before the impacts can last for too long! The only thing I’d watch out for tonight are icy patches on roadways due to all the melting. Lows will be solidly in the 20s.
Friday looks like an improvement with mostly cloudy skies and highs close to 40º.
The weekend will provide us with a couple waves of minor wintry weather, but temperatures will be milder than they have lately, mainly staying in the mid to upper 30s. The first band of precip moves through mid-late day Saturday and the other early Sunday morning. In each case, a mix of rain/snow can be expected with only a little ice/snow accumulation. Overall, I do not expect this weekend to be a loss nor do I expect any wintry weather to last the entire day.
After a brief cool down for early next week, highs return to the 40s under partly sunny skies just in time for Thanksgiving!
