FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A Fort Wayne teenager has been charged in an accident that left a 17-year-old Heritage High School student dead.
Court records show 18-year-old Na Lay is facing five counts of criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The charges go back to a crash November 2nd on Wayne Trace, near Marion Center Road. Investigators said Na Lay was driving the car, packed with fellow Heritage High School students, and looked to be racing another car when he swerved to avoid hitting a truck and rolled the car off the road.
17-year-old Ar Zi Za La died, the other passengers were hurt.
