Columbus woman found safe following Silver Alert

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The woman who was the subject of a statewide Silver Alert was found safe Wednesday afternoon, the Columbus Police Department said.

The Silver Alert is now canceled.

Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a woman missing from Columbus.

Stephanie Ann Hudak is a 36-year-old white woman, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants, and could be in a red, older model Dodge Durango with a black front grill, black wheels, and silver tail lights.

Hudak was last seen on Tuesday at 8:30 pm.  She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
