AM severe thunderstorms Possible PM clearing

Thunderstorms are likely this morning with the potential for strong to severe storms to form during the morning commute. The main threats for severe weather are small hail and gusty winds with torrential downpours also a possibility. Rain will move through quickly and should move out of the area around 9-10 this morning.

Afterwards clouds will depart the area a few hours behind the rain and temperatures will end up being mild with highs in the 80s.

Some chances for rain exist tomorrow although it may end up being a dry day. More scattered thunderstorms possible this weekend.

We’ll be on air starting at 4:30 this morning and provide updates throughout the 12 and 5 PM hours on any severe weather that does occur and also the next chances of rain.
