Several schools ended up having to delay on Wednesday due to power outages in their area.

The main threats for severe weather were small hail and gusty winds with torrential downpours also a possibility. Rain will move through quickly and should move out of the area around 9-10 this morning.

The National Weather Service says people should expect considerable tree damage. Damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs and outbuildings.

ABC21 is tracking the storm and will provide updates all morning long.
