FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The TinCaps couldn’t take down the top team in the Eastern Division on Friday night, as the Loons won the series opener 9-6.

Fort Wayne took the lead in the bottom of the second inning, on a three-run homer from Dwanya Williams-Sutton.

Great Lakes responded with four-run outbursts in the fourth and sixth inning, moving in front, then holding on for the win.
