Warm today but thunderstorms expected tomorrow

Friday will kick off the weekend in style with mostly sunny and warm conditions. Winds will remain light out of the southwest which should bring in warmer temperatures after a chilly start to the day. Highs will range from the upper 70s to lower to mid 80s north to south.

Overnight clouds return to the area ahead of our next system which drops from the north. Showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday with highs near 80. Gusty winds are possible in any thunderstorms. Rain ends Saturday night into early Sunday.

Sunday dries out, but also remains cool which should last through early next week.

We’ll time out the storms in detail coming up at 12 and 5PM
