POLICE: Shots fired outside of downtown restaurant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating after they say shots were fired near a restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne.

FWPD Public Information Officer Sofia Rosales-Scatena said shots were fired around 2 p.m. in the 400 block of Lewis Street, near the Lewis Street Grill.

An employee of the grill told WPTA21 that the shooting happened outside of the restaurant.

At the time of this report, there are no reported victims and police are searching for a suspect.
