How to recycle your old electronics for free

ROANOKE, Ind. (WPTA21) — People can recycle most of their old electronics for free at an upcoming event.

The Fort Wayne Assembly General Motors environmental team is offering the electronics waste recycling event from 4-7 pm Wednesday at Fort Wayne Assembly located at 122000 Lafayette Center Road in Roanoke.

The team is offering free electronic recycling for most items with a power cord or circuit board. These include

The event will also let people get rid of TVs and CRT Monitors 29″ or smaller for $20. Larger TVs and monitors cost $30 to dispose.

The team will also accept 4-foot and 8-foot fluorescent light bulbs and household batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9-Volt).
