FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The Fort Wayne Barbeque Rib Fest kicks off Thursday in Fort Wayne, offering four days of blues, brews and barbeque.
Barbeque Ribfest is back for the 22nd year. A carnival for carnivores, the event features barbeque served up by national award-winning teams.
Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, rib sandwiches, BBQ chicken, and more are served up during the event. Each year over 25-tons of barbeque is eaten while patrons listen to live party blues music on the river all weekend long.
This year’s event starts on Thursday, June 13th at 11:30 AM and ends on Sunday, June 16th at 9:30 PM. The event is free to get in to until 5:30 or $6 for adults, $5 for seniors or $4 for students, military, fire and police after 5:30. On Sunday, it will only cost $3 to get in.
