Konchar earns two-way contract offer from Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WPTA21) — John Konchar didn’t get drafted, but he’ll get his shot with a NBA team.

Early Friday morning, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that Konchar had agreed to a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Purdue Fort Wayne head coach Jon Coffman said Konchar had three two-way offers on the table going into the draft.

As a two-way player, Konchar would play the majority of his time at the G League level, with the Memphis Hustle. He’s able to spend 45 days at the NBA level during the season.
