New Haven Police Chief retiring from force

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WPTA21) — There will be a changing of the guards in New Haven as their police chief retires from the department.

The New Haven Police Department said Chief McKinnon is retiring from the department after 23 years of service. During his time at the department, McKinnon served in areas including road patrol, D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. officer, student resource officer, detective, deputy chief and chief of police.

The department said they will miss him and wish him well.
