Today, temperatures will rise to the mid-80’s, and heat indices will still be in the low to mid-90’s. As late morning and early afternoon roll around, showers and thunderstorms develop. The severe threat remains low, but gusty winds, heavy downpours, and lightning are expected with some of these cells as they move through.
Tonight, temperatures will dip into the upper-60’s which is something we haven’t seen in quite awhile. Overnight conditions will remain cloudy and scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible through the early morning hours of Monday too.
Monday, temperatures will near the upper-70’s which is below our average of 84° this time of year. Muggy conditions will also return to pleasant!
