Much drier and cooler

After weeks of heat and humidity, dry and cool weather is finally back in the forecast for the next few days. A cold front will bring temperatures in the 70s with overnight lows in the 50s. Dewpoints will drop into the 40s and 50s, which should make for much more enjoyable outdoor and sleeping conditions.

The best day should be Tuesday with temperatures in the 70s after starting in the 50s. It should remain mostly sunny with only a slight breeze out of the north. A few stray showers may be possible later in the evening but it should be dry for most of our area.

Our weather should slowly transition back to warm and humid by Friday with temperatures increasing back into the 80s with humidity returning by the end of the week.

We’ll have the latest on the cool starts to the day coming up at noon and 5 PM.
