Cantillo waits out delay, deals against Dragons

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — It ended up beating a late night on Joey Cantillo Day, but that didn’t slow down the TinCaps ace.

After about an hour and a half delay, Cantillo tossed another gem, helping the TinCaps beat the Dragons 5-1.

Cantillo (W, 8-3) went six innings allowing one run on four hits, with a pair of walks and six strikeouts. His ERA now sits at 2.05 on the season.

Dwanya-Williams Sutton hit a home run in the game, and also got hit by a pitch. He’s been plunked 20 times this season, most in the league.
