Heritage to rebound in football with basics

MONROEVILLE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Graduation hit Heritage football hard last season, but the Patriots say they can bounce back from a 2-8 season by sticking to basics this season.

Third year coach Nico Tigulis plans to do it with ball control through a good running game, and says a good turnout for summer workouts has him encouraged about a better year in 2019 despite fairly low roster numbers.

The Patriots return six starters on each side of the ball, but the loss of 16 seniors from a year ago will have them looking for progress as the year goes on.
