Man involved in August home invation sentenced Monday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — One of four people police say broke into a home in August 2018 learned his sentence Monday.

Tyray Bradley Jr. was in court Monday for his sentencing hearing. ABC21 previously reported he pleaded guilty to his role in the home invasion, on Shady Creek Court in the Bittersweet Lakes subdivision in southwest Allen County.

In August 2018, four people tied up a homeowner, stealing $500 from his wallet and taking the combination to his safe.

Bradley was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in the crime, with 12 years to be executed. He was given 297 days of jail credit and a no-contact order.

Earlier this year, Amber Lunsford admitted to felony counts of robbery and criminal confinement in connection with the same incident. Other charges, including burglary and kidnapping, were dismissed.

Police said the victim was discovered face-down on the dining room floor with his hands tied behind his back. They determined the home invasion took place after he invited Lunsford to her home, having found her on a site associated with online escorts.

After consenting to an interview, Lunsford named others who allegedly participated in the crimes, including her boyfriend, identified as Bradley.
