FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Tuesday the Saint Francis football team got back to work, holding its first two practice sessions of the 2019 season.
The Cougars look to continue a dominant stretch in the NAIA, one that’s seen two national titles and two other semifinal appearances in the past four seasons.
USF will need to replace some talented players, especially at the linebacker position, but head coach Kevin Donley and his team were eager to get back to work.
“My favorite time of the year is not Christmas,” Donley said. “It’s football season.”
