FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A Fort Wayne man is waiting to learn his sentence after pleading guilty to killing three people and wounding two others on Thanksgiving night.
ABC21 previously reported Kameron Joyner was arrested in connection with the Thanksgiving 2018 shooting in the 6100 block of Downington Drive. Three people at that location were killed, and two others critically hurt in the shooting.
Joyner was charged with three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and an additional charge of criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon in that case.
On August 8, Joyner pleaded guilty to all but the criminal recklessness charge. As a part of the plea deal, that charge would be dismissed.
The plea deal calls for Joyner to serve up to 200 years in prison. He is set to appear in court on September 5 for his sentencing hearing.
