Scattered storms through sunset

We will continue to see scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist through the evening hours, ending right around sunset. These storms have the capability of producing wind gusts between 25-40 mph, small hail, and heavy downpours. The good news is the chance for widespread severe weather remains low. After midnight, plan on a partly cloudy sky.

Wednesday will bring us slightly cooler temperatures, an isolated shower or two, and at least some sunshine. The humidity will still be in full force, but should be less oppressive than today.

Cooler and drier air moves in for Thursday and Friday.

Have a great evening!
