Concordia boys, Carroll girls win Huntington cross country invitational

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WPTA21) – The Concordia boys and the defending state champ Carroll girls were the team champions at Saturday’s Huntington Invitational cross country meets.

Concordia was led to their win by individual champ Reece Gibson in 15:38.6, and won with 53 points to second place Homestead’s 88.

Carroll took the girls title with 48 points to beat out Dwenger with their score of 84.

The Saints’ Erin Strzelecki was the girls individual champ in 17:35.5.
