THE SCORE: Snider wins after blocked extra point, Bishop Dwenger opens Shields Field with a victory

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Snider came out on top of a back-and-forth battle with Carroll, 21-20.

The Chargers had a chance to tie after a Jeff Becker to Layton Mitchell touchdown made it a one-point game. Snider’s Reece Thomas came up huge after that, blocking the extra-point to help Snider secure the win.

Bishop Dwenger had a successful night in its first game at the new stadium at Shields Field. The Saints beat visiting North Side 36-0.
