Vera Bradley seeking answers regarding swiped ‘skee ball’ trailer

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The matter of a missing skee ball trailer has officials with a locally based designer asking for assistance.

On Thursday, Vera Bradley put out the word that someone made off with a trailer used to bring a little fun to events that company representatives attended.

The trailer takes on a box-like form when closed up. Opened, it allows for the display of Vera Bradley merchandise alongside two arcade style “skee ball” games.

Vera Bradley posted a plea for help to some of its social media accounts. In it, the company asked:

Have you seen this? ? Our traveling skee ball trailer was stolen this week in Franklin, Indiana on its way to Madison, Wisconsin! If any of our detective fans spots it, let us know and we’ll gift you a little surprise for helping us out!

Several people responded that they had, in fact, seen the trailer along the side of the highway.

Late Friday, a representative told ABC21 that Vera Bradley continued to seek information related to the wayward trailer. She said individuals could email tips to mediacontact@verabradley.com.

Because it involves a police investigation, the company was unable to discuss specifics.

It’s not the only mobile display of this sort for the northeast Indiana-based company. Vera Bradley has also toured a “Plinko”-styled game, which visits college campuses and appears at other promotional events.
