Purdue University Fort Wayne hosting 9/11 commemoration and military resource fair

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Wednesday marks 18 years since the US was attacked and Purdue University Fort Wayne is commemorating the tragic event.

The university is hosting the commemoration at their military resource fair at the science mall. During the resource fair, people can visit with campus and community individuals and resource sites supporting active-duty members and veterans.

There will also be resources available with information about suicide prevention, mental healthcare education, coping skills, helping peers and accessing VA services.

The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Science Mall on Purdue Fort Wayne’s campus. That is located between the Liberal Arts Building and Neff Hall.
