Local attorney uses social media to spotlight bus stop stings

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – A stepped-up effort in recent weeks to crack down on those speeding in school zones and zipping past buses that have stopped to pick up students has received a lot of attention.

It’s been featured in newscasts, splashed across the front page of the morning paper and — thanks to a local attorney — broadcast with some colorful commentary on social media.

Chad Romey is an associate with the firm Blackburn and Green, which has an office adjacent to a school bus stop that became a point of focus for law enforcement.

ABC21 reporter Jeff Neumeyer caught up with the lawyer who had a front seat for the crackdown on Jefferson Blvd. in southwestern Fort Wayne, and made sure to share what he saw with an eager Facebook audience.
