Jail nurse, inmate accused of trafficking drugs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Police in Kosciusko County have arrested two people after an investigation into drug trafficking at the county jail.

Sergeant Christopher Francis of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office said Jessica Greer, a contract jail nurse, and Jonathan Fry, an inmate, are facing charges in the case. Though as of Thursday evening, the two have not been formally charged. Fry has been an inmate since June 19th. Greer was arrested Wednesday night.

Authorities said a tip led the NET43 investigative team to Greer and Fry, though police are not elaborating further.

NET43 is a group comprised of several police agencies including officers from the Warsaw Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, Indiana State Police and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
