Komets come up short in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WPTA21) – Frank Hora’s goal with just over three and a half minutes remaining in regulaton lifted the Cincinnati Cyclones past the Komets 5-4 on Wednesday night.

Hora’s score came just 47 seconds after Olivier Galipeau’s goal had tied the game for the Komets for the third time in the contest.

The K’s rallied from a 2-0 early deficit and goals by Alan Lyszczarczyk and Shawn Szydlowski lifted them into a 2-2 tie early in the second period.

A.J. Jenks forged still another tie with a goal later in the second period, and Galipeau had tied the game for a third time before Hora hit his game winner.

The game was the second of four in a row on the road for the K’s who return to action Friday night at Kalamazoo.
