Strong winds knock down Broadway Plaza tree
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Strong wind gusts have knocked down the 40-foot Colorado Spruce outside the Broadway Plaza Wednesday morning.
Thankfully no one was hurt.
Mudrack Tree Service and Associated Builders and Contractors will be on site this afternoon to assess the damage.
For now, the plan is to reinstall the tree on Friday, after the winds are gone and the holiday has passed.
Last week, thousands of folks gathered for the Christmas on Broadway tree lighting.
This is a developing story.
