Mastodons breeze past Judson

 FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Purdue Fort Wayne limited Judson to 23.1 percent shooting in a 69-33 victory on Tuesday night at the Memorial Coliseum.

Jarred Godfrey earned his first career double-double with eleven points and ten rebounds while adding six assists and two steals. Matt Holba finished with a game-high 15 points.

Purdue Fort Wayne led 23-3 after 13 minutes. The 'Dons limited Judson to 1-of-14 from the floor in the stretch and forced ten turnovers, finishing the half leading 37-11. It was the fewest points the Mastodons have allowed in a half since Judson scored eleven in each half against the Mastodons on Nov. 20, 2012. Holba had 13 points in the opening 20 minutes thanks to 4-of-7 shooting.

For the game, Purdue Fort Wayne saw eleven players score. DeMierre Black totaled a career-high twelve points with a pair of steals. Deonte Billups recorded ten points with six rebounds.

It is the fifth time this season the Mastodons have held an opponent to 60 points or fewer.
