FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- Sherwood Haydock's returning to Fort Wayne.
The Woodlan head coach will take over the program at Wayne high school, pending board approval.
Haydock spent nine seasons at Harding high school, making two appearances in the state championship, winning a title in 2006.
After Harding's closure, Haydock took the head coaching job at Woodlan, taking the Warriors to the state final in 2017.
Haydock has 32 seasons of head coaching experience, with an overall record of 195-131.
The Wayne job became open this offseason, after head coach Derrick Moore and the school parted ways.
