PFW women thumped by South Dakota State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -  Despite 16 second-half points from freshman Riley Ott. Purdue Fort Wayne fell to South Dakota State 100-69 on Sunday.

Ott finished with career highs of 20 points and five assists. Anna Lappenkuper added 19 points and Ellie Dykstra had career bests of eight points and five rebounds.


South Dakota State had five scorers in double figures, led by Paiton Burckhard with 20.

Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 4-13, 0-4 in the Summit League while South Dakota State improves to 13-6, 5-0 Summit League.
