PARKVIEW REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER GENERIC

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The emergency entrance to Parkview Regional Medical Center is being moved next week to accommodate construction crews.

Starting Jan. 20, emergency traffic will need to enter through Entrance 1 as crews work on the new tower.

This relocation will last until Aug. 24.

Signage will be placed throughout the campus to instruct emergency traffic where to go.

Officials said this change won't impact EMS traffic, and the EMS entrance remains open for ambulances only.

Parkview Health officials said the new 168,000-foot tower will be six stories tall and include 72 beds.

Construction is expected to wrap up in December.
