Fort Wayne Ballet presents “Love Notes” for Valentine’s Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Looking for something new for date night with your Valentine or even just some weekend fun with friends? The Fort Wayne Ballet has you covered as they present a performance of Love Notes.

The show will feature a ballet performance with a fashion twist including eight different pieces. Some pieces are never-before-seen and others will be some fan favorites.

Introducing a beautiful duet entitled Valse Triste that has been gifted to Fort Wayne Ballet from Raymond Lukens and a new piece from emerging choreographer and Fort Wayne Ballet dancer, Saki Morimoto.

Other pieces will include a section from Romeo and Juliet, a section from Carnaval. In addition to an encore of Tracy Tritz’s Adagio for Strings and Finding Meaning - originally created for Violins of Hope.

Performances are on Friday, February 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 15 at 7 p.m. in the Arts United ArtsLab. Located in the Auer Center for Arts & Culture – 300 E. Main St., Fort Wayne, IN. Not only will the evening include fine dancing but also a selection of hors d’oeuvres, as well as a cash bar. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performances.
