Snow moves in, lasts through Thursday

Snow will continue to fall through the overnight hours tonight, bringing a widespread 2-4" of accumulation to the entire area. There could be pockets of close to 5" south of Fort Wayne, but that is likely to be the exception versus the rule.

Snow will accumulate quickly, creating slippery roads and tricky travel conditions, particularly late tonight and the early Thursday morning commute. Lake effect snow will then bring in some more light accumulation to the area during the morning and early afternoon. While temperatures will remain below freezing throughout the day Thursday, I expect road conditions will improve by the evening commute.

Bitter cold temperatures and wind chills return Friday.
