Malik Williams leaves Louisville-FSU game with ankle injury

TALLAHASEE, Fla (WPTA21) - Former Snider star Malik Williams left Louisville's game at Florida State Monday night after injuring his ankle two and a half minutes into the game.

Williams had scored Louisville's first basket of the game minutes before landing on the foot of a teammate going for a rebound. He left the game and did not return.

X-Rays after the game proved negative and Louisville coaches said after the game they hoped to have Williams back as soon as the Cardinals' next game on Sunday at home against Virginia Tech.
