Lake snow ending, turning colder

Lake effect snow showers will continue through sunset with only minor additional accumulation expected. With dropping temperatures and refreezing on roadways, however, slick spots are still expected area wide. Lows tonight will fall into the mid teens, but wind chills will be in the single digits.

Highs Friday and Saturday will remain in the 20s, but snow chances--outside of a few lake effect flurries--will be low.

Highs return to the 40s Sunday and possibly 50s by early next week with rain.
