Firefighters respond to house fire twice on Summit Street

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21)- Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire in the 1300 block of Summit Street.

Officials say the first fire broke out Friday morning around 6:30 am and was contained.

Another broke out at around 5:00 pm, a resident tells ABC21 all of the people living in the house were able to get out of the building safely. Firefighters had both fires contained in less than 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is undetermined.
