FWPD searching for attempted bank robbery suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Fort Wayne Police are on the lookout for an attempted bank robbery suspect.

Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an alarm at the Chase Bank on East Pettit Avenue.

Officers were told a man walked into the bank and passed the teller a note.

The suspect left before police arrived and did not get away with cash.

Police are hoping two surveillance photos will help them catch the suspect.
