Allen Co. Superior Court to continue some business via teleconference

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - A suspension of jury trials will remain in effect indefinitely, but the judges at Allen County Superior Court are taking steps to keep as much business as possible moving through the legal system.

On Thursday, the judges provided an update explaining that matters such as protective order petitions, civil mediation and guardianship hearing will be addressed -- often via teleconferencing.

The judges also reminded the public that certain processes -- such as residential foreclosures and evictions -- are suspended in accordance with the directives of Gov. Eric Holcomb.
