JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WPTA21) -- For the first time in his pro career, Tyler Eifert will suit up for a team besides the Cincinnati Bengals.
Wednesday, the Jaguars officially announced Eifert would join their team on a two-year contract. That deal's worth $15.5 million, with 10 million guaranteed.
ABC21 spoke with with Eifert on Wednesday, and he did admit it was tough to say goodbye to Cincinnati.
" Been there for 7 years and when you're in it you never think you're going to leave," Eifert said. "As a young player you think you're going to be in one spot forever, and that's just not the way that things work. I think it was just time for me to move on and get off to a fresh start with a new team."
