Angola company files notification of 240 temporary layoffs

ANGOLA, Ind. (WPTA21) - Autoform Tool & Manufacturing has notified the State that it will temporarily let go of 240 employees by Friday.

The WARN Notice filed on Tuesday cites "unforeseen circumstances associated with the pandemic and the declaration of a National Emergency due to the COVID-19 virus."

Company officials told the Department of Workforce Development that the layoffs began on March 20.

They said they were unable to provide notice sooner because of the rapid pace of developments.

Autoform Tool & Manufacturing was founded in 1996, working to provide products serving the fuel delivery system market.
