ROANOKE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Allen County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a 16-year-old and a man in connection with a shooting and stabbing incident Wednesday morning.

Around 1:35 a.m., Allen County police were called out to the 10000 Block of Calera Passage.

Police told ABC21 a man was driving when he lost control of his car and crashed into the garage of a home there.

Police said the man then got out of the car and knocked on several doors to ask for help until a person answered four houses down.

That witness told police the man said he was ambushed and stabbed.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Deputies took two people into custody: one 16-year-old and 43-year-old Christopher Raymond Hatch.

Both were preliminarily charged with aggravated battery.
