While we recieved a break from the heat and humidity this weekend, it returns to start the month of June. June also marks the start of meteorological summer, so the warmth seems to be right on time!
We still feel the effects of northerly winds and clear skies this evening as temperatures again fall into the 40's. However, with sunshine and winds shifting out of the south, it won't take long for us to begin warming up! By the afternoon and early evening, highs enter the mid 70's.
Monday morning starts out clear and sunny before a bit of cloud cover builds in during the afternoon and evening. Due to a quick moving, weak weather system, we could see a stray, brief, light shower Monday evening.
Temperatures rise into the 80's on Tuesday and remain there for the rest of the week. While the heat will return, this week isn't looking as stormy as last week. Rain chances do arrive midweek, but we aren't looking at any washout conditions all week long.
