FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Their high school seasons were wiped out by the pandemic, but many players are now looking to another opportunity, summer travel ball.

The Summit City Sluggers are among the many teams who have now been able to get on fields to practice, trying to hone the skills that might have slipped a bit with no baseball to play this spring.

The Sluggers are hoping to get their schedule started in mid June, and plan to take all the precautions that will allow them to play and complete that season through the summer.
